They include a range of features specifically designed to enhance PIR stability in all weather conditions.

Coated aluminium Floodlight head unit with IP44 Water ingress protection and Heat 'tempered' front safety glass.
Passive Infrared Sensor with 15M range and 120 degree detection angle, incorporating photocell override and auto / walk test facility.
Full Infrared sensitivity adjustment combined with fresnel 'zone enhancement' and 'Pulse detection' circuitry designed to optimise PIR performance and stability under extremes of weather.
PIR Sunshield protects the Infrared sensor from the effects of direct sunlight.
'Oversized' steel Floodlight Mounting Bracket to allow 'wall' or 'overhead' mounting. Manual override facility to 'bypass' the PIR motion sensor and enable manual operation of the light. Timer adjustment setting between 10 seconds and 10 minutes.

Our Vigilant range of security halogen lighting products are the result of ten years experience of design and manufacture within this field.

The integral PIR motion sensors offer a number of features specifically incorporated to reduce unwanted PIR 'triggering' during extreme weather conditions such as high winds or rapid fluctuations in ambient temperature.

Utilizing Fresnel zone enhancements and pulse detection circuitry combined with full infrared sensitivity adjustment our sensors can effectively eliminate potential 'false' PIR activations.

These features allow the use of low amplification, high definition circuitry enabling optimum stability and performance of the Passive Infrared sensor.
The floodlight head is available in 'standard' or 'miniature' size and is supplied with oversize bracket to facilitate ease of wall mounting.
They can be purchased with 150w, 300w or 00w halogen tubes to suit requirements.
